High West Double Rye!
About High West Double Rye!
Double Rye! is a blend of two different rye whiskeys. It is also crafted to be twice as spicy (think cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves) as your average rye whiskey.
Thanks to its balance of cinnamon, anise, and honey, High West Double Rye! stands on its own in cocktails, but is great served neat, with a little water, or on the rocks.
“This is a very smooth, complex, easy drinking rye whiskey, with a distinctive taste wrapped around a classic rye profile.”- Forbes
Tasting Notes
Known for its rich and spicy flavor. Mint, clove, apple cinnamon, and pine nut aromas all pleasantly mix together. First sip is spicy; however, mint, anise and cinnamon quickly kick in creating a light burn on the palate. Sweetening through the finish with notes of cinnamon and mint to create a long lingering spice.
Suggested Serves
- Classic: Manhattans and Old-Fashioneds are always in style
- Unexpected: A nice and spicy Whiskey Lemonade
